Immersive Experience in Permaculture & Agroecology

Nature becomes the most inspiring classroom, and community life connects and enriches us.
What We Offer: More than a rigid program, this internship is a dynamic and flexible space. Each participant will have the opportunity to integrate according to their interests, finding their own path of learning and sharing.
Self-Sufficiency & Sovereignty: Reproduction and propagation of edible plants, seed conservation, bioconstruction, and water management.
Connection to & Care for the Land: Working in gardens, edible forests, and regenerative systems that strengthen soil health and biodiversity. Composting, vermicomposting, composting human waste, preparing natural fertilizers, and ecological methods for insect and disease control. Working with farm animals and beekeeping: participating in the care of cows (making yogurt and cheese), chickens, and bees, learning respectful and sustainable management practices.
Theoretical & Practical Learning: Demonstrations, discussions and workshops that complement the experience, offering tools to apply in other contexts.
Community Life: Integration into shared routines, spaces for dialogue, and collaboration on collective projects.
Spiritual & Health Practices: Spaces to share ancestral knowledge and connect with nature. Production of organic personal hygiene products (soaps, creams, toothpaste). Medicinal and ornamental plants.
Objective
To train interns who not only learn techniques but also experience the philosophy of regeneration, cooperation, and respect for nature. We want each participant to leave with practical tools and a transformative vision to apply in their own projects and communities.
Who is THIS for?
This internship is aimed at people committed to their personal growth and open to the transformation that arises from direct contact with the land and community life. We are looking for participants who value positive relationships, contributing respect and openness to the group dynamic, and who share a deep sensitivity towards the planet and all living beings.
This is a space for those who wish to integrate practice and theory, finding a balance between hands-on work, reflection, and spiritual connection. Here, every daily action becomes an act of care, sovereignty, and regeneration, and every shared experience strengthens the construction of a more conscious and supportive future.
Invitation
This internship is more than a course: it is a practical and immersive experience in permaculture, agroecology, and sovereignty, where learning begins with your hands in the soil and is complemented by spaces for reflection and theory. We invite you to be part of this process, to cultivate, build, and create in harmony with nature, while sharing knowledge that transcends borders and strengthens respect for the planet and all beings who inhabit it.
MEET EMILIO & JAZMIN
We are Emilio, Jazmin, and baby Samuel, an Uruguayan-Mexican couple. We met in Mexico, where Emilio was part of a permaculture and agroecology project called Los Volcánes, where Jazmin volunteered. Emilio has volunteered on seven permaculture-related projects in five countries, but it was in Mexico where he had the opportunity to host over 150 volunteers in three years, in addition to university interns, school visits, and workshops.
Love blossomed there for Emilio and Jazmin. We lived there for almost two years, and the search for a children based community led us to Finca Sagrada in Ecuador, where we have been for four months.
Together, we enjoy watching our son grow surrounded by the beauty of our sacred Mother Earth and our human connections. We recognize ourselves as children of heaven and earth, co-creators of a more harmonious reality for all beings. We are enthusiastic learners, nurturing the seed!
